Design Brief/Scope of Work
Guardian Screens & Shuters was contracted to enclose the waste storage area.
We were given strict instructions what was required and to design a solution based around the brief. The large doorways were not something we would suggest in this instance, but the client was very adamant on the design they had put forward. We were able to enclose the area securely, with the doors, very surprisingly, working extremely well given their enormous size.
The product was installed into the Steel Frame and concrete using appropriate fasteners for longevity against electrolysis and corrosion. This enclosure will stay strong and secure for many years to come.

Concealed Screws and Clamp
Effectiveness of the Security Screen Products
Being a commercial site with confidential waste, the enclosure needed to be strong and secure. The large opening was required to allow trolley/pallet liftiers in and out of the door whilst moving bins.
Choosing Crimsafe was a necessity to allow maximum airflow whilst keeping pests and intruders out. The fact that Crimsafe Mesh provides UV and Solar protection was an added benefit to keeping the enclosed space cooler and reducing odors.
Security and Safety
The passive door is locked in place using an Austral Double Throw Flush bolt locking it into the Guardian Buildout Frame and Concrete floor. The working doorway utilizes a Lockwood 8654 Triple
Lock which is engaged through a T-Mullion into the passive door. The special key and cylinder used was a Anti Drill Euro Cylinder with Kinetic Defence to maximise security and protection.

Design and Innovation
Guardian Screens & Shuters were required to design a system that is extremely large, with interlocking panels that cater from the ebs and flows on the concrete floor.
We designed a header beam that followed the raked ceiling which extended out to allow our panels to be installed without clashing with the steel subframe. All drawings and designs needed to be sent and pre-approved before manufacturing and installation.
Functionality
The extremely large doorway was a requirement set out by the client, our design may have differed with a sliding scenario to avoid the large swing of the doorways, but this was not approved. We were a litle unsure how the product would operate and if we would require a botom gate roller to help support the doors.
Our team was very pleased to find the doors work extremely well. Both Doors are manufactured and installed in accordance with AS5039/5040/5041.
Installation Overview
We were determined to ensure the products were safe and secure given the extremely large size of each opening.
Guardian Screens & Shuters built and designed this enclosure around strict guidelines from our client. The large doorways boasting an opening of 3550 x 2400 makes this the largest French doorway we have ever completed.
